“ EDO is one of the greatest examples of fine dining tapas on a budget. The level of skill from the chefs is incredible and it was shown in every dish. The tapas formula was easy to follow especially with a small group. All of us ordered 2-3 dishes per person and shared each single one. This led to us having a really fun dining experience. We shared our opinions on each dish as we ate together while finding room for more plates as they came one after the other. The braised beef cheek was beyond phenomenal as if I was made out of gelatine. It simply disintegrated in my mouth and melted away like meat flavoured butter. Packed full of flavour and textures as the accompanying elements added a level of contrast on the plate. This dish was a showstopper and will live long in my memory. The tenderness was outrageous and it was clear to see that there was nothing but attention to detail throughout the entire cooking process. Every other dish was incredibly fresh, packed flavour punches and felt unique from eachother. I was full by the final dish and that’s exactly what you want from tapas. You want to eat until your heart is content and then rank each dish from best to last with your dining guests. I had langoustine ceviche for the very first time and I think it’s safe to say Edo set the bar with this one. The texture of the raw langoustine caught me off guard as I expected it to be a mushy mess. It was far from that as it had some bite to it and immense flavour that I can’t describe. Delicate yet powerful in its beauty. EDO is an absolute knockout, well deserving of their Michelin Bib. They are doing something incredible in Belfast and it’s no surprise why they’re always fully booked. The value for money is impressive to say the least. You’ll eat like a king and come out feeling like you didn’t break the bank like you would in other substandard restaurants. That is one way to bring your customers back over and over again without fail. Highly recommended. ”

“ This was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time!! I can’t recommend this place enough, if you are looking for a quality dining experience for a beyond reasonable price! The staff were lovely too and the service was really good, if not a bit too efficient. We ordered 7 different dishes between 3 people and all of it came out within only 20 minutes of ordering. I would have preferred for them to be brought out with a bit more time in between dishes, but it doesn’t take away from the overall experience. We had the passionfruit and pistachio tart along with a cheese platter for dessert, and it was incredible! The best brie I’ve had in my life. 10/10 ”

“ Tip.. go for an early time-slot. We had a mid-evening reservation and some dishes had sold out... difficult to substitute these items as my wife is vegetarian. We still enjoyed our meal which was all delicious & tasted authentic. Service is purposefully casual but good nonetheless. Overall a great experience and we'd recommend a visit if you enjoy authentic Spanish food.
